The essential functions of the position areDirect Clinical SupportProvide group, individual therapy and classroom support Deliver crisis response and intervention services to students, families and staffComplete copious student treatment notes in a timely manner consistent with company policyConduct psycho-social assessments for initial evaluations and re-evaluationsCreate individualized treatment plans Participate in weekly clinical individual/group supervision Conduct student observations to monitor social/emotional progress and evaluate treatment effectiveness Scholar Support and PlanningProvide consultation on an on-going basis to teachers, parents, and other school personnel to resolve students" learning and behavioral problemsAssist in making referrals to community resources for students as neededParticipate in school meetings to develop plans of assistance for students at risk of academic and/or behavioral difficulty Participate in the development of crisis prevention and management plans School-Wide Education and TrainingLead parent and scholar workshopsCreate and provide professional development for school staff on a quarterly basisRequirements This position is for licensed clinicians ONLY. If you do not meet the minimum requirements, please DO NOT apply-your application will not be considered.Level I Clinician Master"s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology. Licensed graduate level Social Worker or Professional Counselor in the State of Maryland; and a minimum of one (1) year of experience providing individual therapy to children, adolescents, and families.Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in an urban school/setting, is preferred but not required.Level II Clinician Master"s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology. Independently licensed Social Worker or Professional Counselor in the State of Maryland; and two (2) years of experience providing individual therapy to children, adolescents and families.Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in an urban school/setting, is preferred but not required.Demonstrated proficiency with business technology applications (eg Microsoft Office Suite -Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and telehealth preferred) and other relevant technological tools related to the work of a school counselor.BenefitsClinical Supervision (Graduate Level Clinicians)Competitive compensationFlexible work scheduleMileage reimbursementAFLACMedical/Dental/VisionTraining and clinical certifications (ie TF-CBT and DBT)
