In this position you will work closely with a UX Designer, product management team, and other software engineers to develop modern and powerful web applications. The ideal candidate for this position has hands-on experience developing modern web applications both front-end and back-end, a strong background in computer science, and is excited to work in a highly technical, fast-paced, and cross-functional startup environment. Core Job Responsibilities Develop web applications in a variety of technologies Work closely with UX designers and product management to deliver a cutting edge, modern, and responsive user experience Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, requirements management, Agile development, testing, and documentation Help drive design decisions with a user-centric mindset Participate in user testing and design iteration Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience 2+ years experience developing modern web applications Experience with any of the following: TypeScript, React, Express, NoSQL databases, AWS Strong computer science fundamentals and software documentation skills Strong cross functional communication skills, can easily communicate complex ideas to people with varying backgrounds Experience working in an Agile development environment Organized, self-directed, efficient and able to manage priorities and expectations Nice to have Knowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience Knowledge of HIPAA and other data privacy regulations Experience with software testing and automation
