Location: Remote Due to COVID-19, we are currently not requiring MeetingPlay staff to travel. All events are virtual and/or hybrid until otherwise noted and communicated.A' Please note that hybrid events utilizing MeetingPlay, for onsite event support, may have client-specific requirements. Ideal Candidate: Seeking a candidate with 1-3+ years of experience working in customer service and/or technology-related fields. This contracted, part-time position requires general computer proficiency, strong technical troubleshooting skills, and excellent communication ability. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working from home interruption-free, with a reliable internet connection. Must be willing to work extended hours on the computer, with occasional shifts longer than 8 hours. Candidates should be comfortable solving a variety of technical issues via text-based chat or face-to-face virtual meetings. Primary Responsibilities: A' A' . A' A' A' Responding to support inquiries in a timely manner, asking probing/clarifying questions, and listening to understand and resolve attendee and client needs A' . Providing efficient technical support to attendees, speakers, and exhibitors in a virtual event space via text-based chat and virtual face-to-face meetings A' . Acting as the face of MeetingPlay at client virtual events by providing superior customer service and a positive ongoing support experience A' . Modifying event content as needed (such as attendee profiles, agenda sessions and tracks, maps, speaker assignments, polling, sponsors, and exhibitors, and more!) and pulling reports A' . Effectively communicating with team members A' . Reporting escalations to leadership in a timely manner to swiftly resolve issues A' Requirements & Skills: A' . Driver"s license or valid photo ID A' . High-speed internet, consistent connection A' . Computer with sufficient processing power to multitask and stay engaged in a virtual conference A' . Functional webcam and microphone A' . Strong technology acumen A' . Outstanding verbal and written communication skills A' . Personable and works well with others A' . Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills A' . Organized and able to multitask efficiently A' . Detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic and a hunger to learn in a team environment A' . Ability to prosper in a start-up culture versus large corporate enterprise by exemplifying self-structure A' . Foreign languages are a plus Software Knowledge:A$ cents A' €A' A' . Required: Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word) A' . Required: Google Docs & Spreadsheets A' . Required: Virtual communication tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams) A' . Knowledge of event registration systems, mobile app platforms, and virtual platforms (ie, CVENT) is a plus
