In this vital position, you will manage the store associates with the expectation of generating sales and ensure exceptional customer service. You will be expected to maximize profits and stay within budget by managing margins and expenses, as well as be accountable for the store"s P&L.The Retail Store Manager will report directly to the National Retail Supervisor and be responsible for:Personnel Recruit, select and hire staff in collaboration with the Corporate HR Department Train staff in necessary product knowledge, selling skills, and store operationsMotivate and develop individual associates through one on ones, coaching and feedback Foster and maintain a healthy, safe, pleasant and cooperative work environmentEnsure that staff adhere to company policies and proceduresConduct annual staff reviewsFinancial goals Maximize sales to achieve or exceed annual budgetAnalyze and review goal attainment and suggest corrective measuresMaintain exemplary stewardship of the business AdministrationComplete staff schedule with corporate directed frequency and effectively manage payroll by leveraging staff availability and store needsEnsure proper opening and closing proceduresMaintain a well-organized back office and provide reporting Maintain cash asset loss policies/procedures Offer opinion and points of view with intent to improve existing policies and procedures Merchandise Maintain appropriate merchandise and store supply inventories by effectively managing orders and shipments Help develop and adhere to merchandising standardsRespond quickly to changes in stock levels and customer needs Offer assortment recommendations based on customer"s needsMaintain a clean, safe, inviting sales floor that is replenished adequately to meet customer demandMarketing Ensure outstanding and consistent customer service Help recommend and develop special promotions Conduct and/or train staff to conduct in-store classes, demos, and other eventsMaintain the Customer Relationship Management system Promote the store by building relationships in the local communityPropose and execute in-store and off-site special events to generate traffic and publicityJOB REQUIREMENTS:A culinary passion!Associate or Bachelor"s degree preferred with a minimum of 3 years retail sales management experience Ability to lead and motivate a teamCommitment to customer service and constant improvement Excellent written, organizational (planning, expediting, prioritizing and multitasking), and communication skillsStrong business sense and excellent problem solving skills Sound organizational skills: planning, expediting, prioritizing and multi-tasking Professional attitude and ability to be flexible and deal with changeProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and timelinessAbility to work a variety of shifts.
