As the Pricing Lead, you will support all Next Phase proposal pricing activities. You will work closely with the Growth Team to review a solicitation, develop the internal pricing model, and prepare cost/price volumes in compliance with solicitation instructions, FAR requirements, disclosed Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), agency particular, and GAAP requirements. THIS POSITION REQUIRES RESIDENCY IN MARYLAND OR NORTHERN VIRGINIA and is PARTIAL REMOTE 2 DAYS A WEEK.Primary ResponsibilitiesThe Pricing Lead works as a member of the strategic pricing team to pursue and capture new business.Leads and manages major and complex cost proposals.Develops complex pricing strategies and performs risk and cash flow analyses.Develops and presents price assumptions, financial summaries, and risk assessment to senior leadership before proposal submission.Assists the Growth Team with proposal pricing efforts, identifying the underlying costs associated with an offering, and driving the financial modeling efforts to determine the costing, pricing, and overall profitability for Next Phase.Develops business volume proposal responses and contract pricing activities in response to develop Firm Fixed Price, Time &Material, Cost Plus Business Proposal, and Detailed Cost Proposals.Prepare contract cost proposals due to contract modifications, requests for equitable adjustments, and terminations for convenience. Work with Program Delivery staff to develop a basis of estimate.RequirementsMust be a US Citizen and must be able to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance if requiredBachelor"s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics5 A cents € " 7 years of experience with forecasting models and cost accounting processes, pricing (federal and commercial systems integrator and product pricing)Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)Prior experience as a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Analyst or similar rolePossession of excellent oral and written communication skillsPossession of excellent analytical and critical thinking skillsExperience working with Program Delivery staff to develop a basis of estimate (BOE)Experience with developing labor category mappings to rates for Pricing Proposals (federal opportunities)Experience developing highly detailed project cost reporting for federal contractsExperience with Salary and Rate Analysis SurveysUnanet experience with financial management/accounting highly desiredAdvanced financial analytical skills Understanding of Cost Type, Time & Material, and Fixed Price contract types Familiarity with the General Services Administration (GSA) schedule pricing Familiarity with government contract bidding processDemonstrates in-depth understanding of direct and indirect cost structures of a government contractorAble to communicate effectively with senior leadershipPreferred ExperienceMasters or Finance/Accounting CertificationFoundational understanding of FAR/CAS and other related federal government contracting and procurement regulations Understanding of business case, cost, and price components Experience in cost/price proposal developmentKnowledge of general business practices/accounting & finance principles Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentWe are currently unable to sponsor Visa candidates, only US Citizens or Greencard holder should apply.
