Job DescriptionAt Inova, more than 18,000 employees demonstrate their commitment every day to providing the community with expert, world-class, compassionate patient care.We are currently seeking a Psych Emergency Clinician 3 to join our dynamic team!Responsibilities: Provides psychiatric consults to patients who present to the Emergency department onsite at Fairfax ER, via telepsych at other Inova ERs or Urgent Care facilities, or at IPAC walk in clinic. Assesses needs and formulates collaborative treatment recommendations. Must be able to provide supervision towards licensing. They will be on the on call rotation. Maintains theraputic milieu to provide safe environment for crisis stabilization. Ensures improvements in practice setting by assuming responsibility for self-development in lifelong learning. Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with others at the two primary facilities. Has respect for and understanding of other disciplines. Master's of Social Work (MSW), or Masters in Counseling, or PsyD or PHD in Clinical Psychology/Counseling, or related masters degree. Licensed in VA: LCSW, LPC, PsyD, or PHD.
