As the Nurse Practitioner you will:
•Be expected to provide high quality, evidence-based care to in-patient and outpatient in IR, and to assist the team in patient management from pre-hospitalization to discharge.
•Acts as a resource for, support to, and leader of IR resources within the hospital.
• Report directly to the Clinical Nurse Manager and independently be responsible for the safe and effective delivery of patient-centered care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Work in collaboration with Physicians, Case Management, and Registered Nurses in order to improve patient outcomes and reduce hospital re-admissions.
• Educate patients and family through the continuum of care while striving to advance your own knowledge and skills.
• Demonstrate professionalism, adhere to ANA standards of practice, and exemplify the Adventist HealthCare values as they fulfill our nursing mission and vision.
• Utilize equipment and technology correctly, delegate non-nursing duties appropriately to maximize efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:
• Master's degree or Doctorate degree in Nursing
• Licensed as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in the State of Maryland
• National Board Certification
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification preferred
• Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner preferred
• Eligible for Maryland Controlled Dangerous Substance license
• DEA license is not required but preferred
• IR/Radiology Experience is preferred
