To learn more, please visit: https://www.nfp.com.This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the US The RoleThe Senior Actuarial Analyst will provide strategic, analytical and technical actuarial services to internal and external property and casualty clients as a member of our industry-leading team.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesManage multiple client specific deliverables related to renewals and other special projectsHave primary project responsibility for actuarial reserve analyses, captive feasibility studies, insurance program pricing studies, loss forecasting, variability analysis and simulation modelingOrganize, assemble and prepare effective communications for submissions and proposalsParticipate in client presentations and where appropriateAdhere to project timelines. Can identify problems as they ariseProvide advocacy in technical negotiations with third parties as appropriate and provide other expertise to support colleaguesWork with brokers to develop innovations to existing risk management solutions or new productsSupport efforts to prospect new businessCan complete standard experience and exposure analysis without problems and shepherd resources to help where appropriateMaintain working relationships with all levels in the organization (peers, management, other departments and offices)Knowledge, Skills, And/or AbilitiesStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong client presence with project management, presentation and facilitation skillsWell organized with the ability to handle several projects/clients simultaneouslyProficiency with MS Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointProficiency with SQL and R and/or PythonDedicated work ethic with a commitment to client service excellenceExperience working in a team environmentEducation And/or ExperienceBachelors or related2-5 years of related insurance industry experienceCertificates, Licenses, RegistrationProgress toward Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) certification preferredWhat We OfferNFP is proud to offer a competitive salary, PTO & paid holidays, 401(k) with match, exclusive discount programs, health & wellness programs, and more.
