Keller is looking for an Entry Level Human Resources Administrator based out of our Corporate office in Hanover, MD.Job Summary: Member of the Support Services team and is responsible for providing administrative support to the organization with a primary focus on Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The HR Administrator manages employee changes, facilitates onboarding and offboarding processes within the HRIS, and delegates inquiries to the centers of expertise within the HR department. Responsibilities: Essential Responsibilities Process and maintain personnel and organizational actions and functions in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) including new hires, terminations, status changes, promotions, transfers, compensation, leave, I-9, certificates, payroll, and accounting records. Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of personnel files and HRIS data. Update employee files and existing data to document personnel actions and verify accuracy for payroll and other uses. Perform periodic audits of HR electronic files. Answer employee and office personnel inquiries and refer complex requests to the appropriate contact. Compile and retrieve data from personnel records to prepare various reports. Process employment verifications. Perform general clerical duties to include filing, copying, maintaining, tracking, mailing, and ordering Human Resources materials, etc. Assist payroll department in processing the unemployment claims. Prepare offer letters and documentation for employee changes. Compose separation agreements and process payouts. Other administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications: Background Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Experience) Associate degree from an accredited institution and 2 years of office experience required OR High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and 4 years of office experience required. Previous experience in Human Resources preferred. Strong organization, communication, customer service and decision-making skills. Proven high-level of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to process high volumes of information and documentation with accuracy. Ability to handle confidential information, quickly learn human resource information system (HRIS), Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and other computer applications. Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.Compensation: $15-$19 per hourKeller is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
