The Administrative/Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organizations Administration and Human Resources departments. Administrative/HR Assistant Job Responsibilities: Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office. Answers phone calls, schedules meetings and supports visitors. Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc. Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects and expediting work results. Makes travel arrangements for senior staff such as booking flights, cars, and hotel or restaurant reservations. Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail. Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication. Develops administrative staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities. Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques. Provides information by answering questions and requests. Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management. Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records. Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately. Provides clerical support to the HR department. May assist with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors, and distributing checks. Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers. Conducts or assists with new hire orientation. Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications. Professionalism Problem Solving Education and Experience Requirements Associates degree Bachelors degree preferred 3 years of administrative experience Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat Valid drivers license About Bridgepoint BridgePoint Healthcare is dedicated to promoting healing and wellness in a safe and welcoming environment, with an individualized path to recovery for each patient.
