MUFG Investor Services is seeking a Reporting & Oversight Analyst to join the Shareholder Reporting and Oversight team and work in our Rockville, MD location.This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, fast growing organization.Job ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Director of Shareholder Reporting & Oversight, this person will join a highly collaborative team responsible for insuring adherence to regulatory requirements, certain state and client federal tax reporting requirements, and contributing to the overall management of shareholder risk.In addition to strong decision making and analytical skills, the ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to be extremely detail oriented.The successful candidate will have experience in the financial services or mutual fund industry and be comfortable interacting with associates and management throughout the organization as well as outside partners.The Reporting & Oversight Analyst role presents an opportunity to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state tax and escheatment reporting requirements for shareholders. Specific Responsibilities Collaborate with an outside vendor to facilitate the processing of lost shareholders and state escheatment due diligence processing and applicable filingsParticipate in the annual review, generation and ultimate delivery of tax forms to shareholders and IRSProcess and track sensitive shareholder issues such as subpoenasAdminister various shareholder mailings throughout the year (W-8 re-certifications, NCOA updates, etc.)Act as a backup for other oversight responsibilities performed within the group such as anti-money laundering complianceParticipate actively in TA initiatives as neededQualifications and SkillsFour year college degree Two to three years of experience in the financial services or mutual fund industryMust be able to manage sensitive and confidential information in an appropriate mannerProven excellent written and oral communication skillsStrong decision making and analytical skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsHighly self-motivated and results orientedMust be able to work independently as well as in a team environmentExtremely detail orientedPrevious experience in the following are strongly preferred but not requiredTax reporting (Forms 1099, 5498, 1042-S) Escheatment processing IRS B-Notice and 972CG processing and reporting Other regulations such as 22c-2 and the PATRIOT ActMUFG Investor Services (US), LLC is an equal opportunity employer.by Jobble
