We are fundamentally changing the nature of human interactiongiving people the freedom to connect powerfully and personally from anywhere, at any time, on any device.Were a $1.5 billion company thats growing at 30+% annually and were expanding our Sales Team to make sure we stay ahead of the competition.The RingCentral Carrier Sales Solutions Engineer is a technical pre-sales specialist, responsible for partnering with US Service Providers organizations, Product, Marketing and Engineering teams.A Carrier Sales Engineer should have in-depth knowledge on the entire RingCentral Ecosystem. including other UCaaS solutions, Legacy voice, data networking, and security.Primary responsibilities include partnering with regional sales leaders to develop the Canadian SP market by engaging in value proposition selling of the RingCentral solutions, defining Service Provider MVPs, setting up POCs & Demos, leading Service Provider network and OSS/BSS integration discussions, RFI/RFP responses, and various other initiatives.Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to business development, monitoring and supporting SE collaborative teams, manage customer feature requests and document for product team, lab testing, continued education on the platform and underlying technologies, and support Service Providers related internal and customer facing events.ResponsibilitiesHelp Service Providers understand the value, capabilities and consumption models of the RingCentral platform Provide in-region onsite support for Service ProvidersPartner with Product team stakeholders to support new and existing Service Providers throughout the lifecycle of the partnership. This includes supporting Service Provider RFI/RFPs, managing new feature requests, OSS/BSS integrations, IMS integrations etc. Cultivate relationships with internal and external aligned Partners and resourcesPartner with the team to evaluate new technical solutions to meet or exceed Service Provider requirementsKeep up to date on relevant competitive solutions, products and servicesSupport and participate, with other Sales Engineers, in performing advanced technical presentations for Service Providers, both remotely and in-person.Develop and maintain expert understanding of all RingCentral applications and productsRepresent RingCentral at conferences, industry, and sales eventsActively participate as a SME for RingCentral products and technologiesQualifications & Skills7+ years of experience serving in the capacity of a Technical Sales Engineer in a SaaS (Software as a Service) environment, or equivalent, relevant experience.5+ years of experience working in Solution Sales Engineering capacity selling directly to Service Providers.Proven ability to provide technical leadership to the account team and engineers.Ability to teach other members of the team and effectively manage a team of highly skilled Sales Engineers.Must be able to coordinate across various groups and functional teams.Ability to apply solutions, technology and products to a business opportunity.Willingness to travel regularly throughout assigned region.Knowledge and demonstrated operating experience in the following areas of specialization: Voice, Video, Messaging, and Mobile Communications.Knowledge of VoIP, IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), and data networking protocols.Understanding of Service Providers provisioning, billing, and integration processes. Understanding of customer communications requirements and business drivers for enterprise business markets.Competitive knowledge including solution, technology and product offerings.Demonstrates the ability to excel at understanding and communicating complex technical solutions and issues.Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
