Position OverviewIgnite has an immediate opening for a senior-level Director, Brand + Digital Strategy to join our team. The Director will oversee our creative and digital teams to ensure ignite is always synonymous with both creative excellence and employee satisfaction.We move fast. Were looking for someone to jump right in and help us build this ship as we sail. As a member of ignites Executive Leadership Team, this crucial role will focus on advocating for both our clients and internal teams in all decision-making processes.This position oversees the work of multiple roles (Strategists, Designers, Writers, etc.). Were looking for someone who can ensure consistency and quality at every step of our process.This role is an opportunity to help build a different kind of agency. We work hard, but more importantly, we want to work smart and enjoy ourselves along the way. The right Director will act as a mentor and a visionary. Wed prefer someone with past agency experience, but are open to other professional experiences that qualify someone for this role.Our Director of Brand and Digital Strategy should be comfortable communicating clear strategic direction with individuals at all levels. Were looking for individuals with a strong background in strategic marketing, including experience in branding, storytelling, and digital marketing. Even if you dont check every single box, we still want to hear from you.About IgniteIn the last 18 months, ignite has seen nearly vertical growth, doubling and then tripling its staff across the US. As a brand and digital agency serving mission-driven brands and organizations, our partners have big ideas and bold visions for the future. Our job is to help them get there.The majority of our clients are non-profits, though weve been known to work with feature films, major universities, ecommerce companies, and major philanthropic foundations on mission driven projects. Our initial expertise centered around digital marketing in the faith-based space (think Washington National Cathedral!), but as we grow so do our verticals. We currently focus on Brand Strategy, Campaign Development, and Digital Marketing.As a company, we recently launched a full-scale DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) initiative to apply the framework to all of our company policies. Were not afraid to confront the challenges that come with nearly vertical growth in such a short period of time. Weve got some of the most interesting, creative, hard-working people in the business. But theres always room for one more.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDrive the development of strategic solutions for our portfolio of clients and manage internal resources to fulfill these strategies on time, on budget and with optimal use of resources Advocate for optimum allocation of internal bandwidth and resources across all client projects in Executive Leadership Meetings (ELT) meetingsWork with Sales to ensure new client contracts are both ambitious and realistic; consistently evaluate project progress with clients and internal team to ensure all expectations are metBuild positive, trusting relationships with all clients and act as Executive Sponsor on top tier projects, ensuring creative excellence and client satisfactionManage and steward our creative and digital teamsOffer mentorship to our team of digital strategistsContinually evaluate staffing structure to ensure seamless collaboration Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practicesDevelop agency standards around measuring ROI and KPIs for client projectsOversee development of templates and processes that will drive efficiency and consistency across digital marketing services Ensure creative excellence Qualifications7-10 years of experience implementing complex digital marketing strategies in fast-paced environments 4+ years of experience managing other marketing or creative professionals Proven background and experience in branding, storytelling, and digital marketingDesire to build a department centered on excellence and efficiency Hands-on experience with branding and digital marketing from concept to executionSense of ownership, vision, and pride in your performance and its impact on ignites successCritical thinking, writing, and problem-solving skillsTeam player with strong time-management, interpersonal, and communication skillsDesire to help build a humane and empathetic marketing agency and cultureWe are specifically looking for candidates with previous agency experience but are open to discussing other types of professional experiencesBenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insurance. ignite covers 50% of each employee's healthcare costs.Flexible working hours, including permanent remote/work from home optionUnlimited paid time off with 2 week minimum per year$100/month remote work stipend$1,500 in reimbursable expenses for initial remote work set-upLocationRemote, but we do work on Eastern Standard Time.Ignite: action is committed to equal employment opportunity. ignite:action does not discriminate in any aspect of employment on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, age, veteran status, disability, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local employment discrimination laws where we do business.Managed by Staffer (by JazzHRrFcplJnAYwby Jobble
