Our client, a leading hospitality company, is seeking a talented Sr Network Engineer.Reporting to the Sr Director of Corporate Networks, this position is responsible to ensure overall requirements for services from customers, peer groups and operations are correctly identified and met. Responsibilities include but are not limited to LAN/WAN/WiFi engineering, implementation and operationsInstallation and troubleshooting of networks and circuits, oversight of physical plant delivery and validation; establishment of technical plans for project delivery. Building and delivering enterprise network for physical building - setting up delivery steps and working closely with a Project Manager on build outBuilding out a Wifi solution for new building (Mist)Routing and Switching using Cisco and implementation of an SDA network solution The successful candidate will be a critical team member for the delivery of building networks, including the new Headquarters buildingDevelop and execute plans and processes to standardize, optimize, and automate network project delivery and ensure that all security and compliance requirements are fully met. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field experience/certification 7+ years experience as a Network Engineer with 7 or greater years in a hands-on role implementing engineering standards, documenting engineering designs, and participating in project cutovers.5 years experience in an IT infrastructure lead role that include:Experience establishing technical delivery plans for large, complex networksExperience delivering facilities/office build projects; familiarity with physical plant/cablingImplementation of WAN, LAN, and WiFi and with a focus on mission-critical, customer-facing applications and services Technical knowledge of common routing protocols (eg, OSPF, BGP, etc), IPv6, VPN, etc. across a global distributed network Technical knowledge of Cisco LAN/WAN networking with an emphasis on facilities/office projects; knowledge of Cisco DNA-C is highly desirableTechnical knowledge and practical experience with WiFi delivery; experience with Juniper/Mist is highly desirableTechnical knowledge and practical experience with telco and circuit delivery, implementation, and testing Technical knowledge of SD-WAN solutions is highly desirableDemonstrated experience in delivering written documents detailing network solutions and diagrams and operational run books; experience doing knowledge transfer to operational and other support personnelAbility to work some non-standard hours during change implementations and service restoration effortsSkillsIs organized and detail orientedCreates accurate timeline estimates and tracks to completionExcels at establishing and communicating technical expectations and timelinesDocuments findings and collect data for future projects#CBby Jobble
