The Elevate program is an amazing way to get exposure to new technologies and enterprise-wide projects at a Fortune 100 level company.The Real-Time Security Services team is actively expanding their Real-Time Windows Support team and is seeking a Jr. System Administrator that is eager to work with and gain proficiency in cyber tools like tripwire/Splunk, maintain the uptake of network design, and support Linux system patching. You will be working amongst a team responsible for imaging, patching and upgrading Linux systems. The ideal Jr. Windows Systems Admin will be highly ambitious, able to work with minimal supervision and passionate about furthering their career in a Real-Time Cyber Security environment. If you think the description below fits your skillset, we encourage you to apply!Requirements:0-2 years experience working in Windows Server 2012, 2016 Operating Systems.In-depth knowledge of computer systems including installation and maintenance.Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM, Active Directory, Office 365Experience using one or more of the following technologies: DNS, DHCP, VDI, SQL Server, IIS, Apache, SAN, Hyper-Converged, LAN, WLAN, VLAN, OSI model, TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, and PKIMust be able to interact with peers, management, and senior engineers in a constantly evolving environment to ensure a positive customer experience and atmosphere in the workplace.Ability to be a self-starter and take on the initiative to learn more advanced operations and technologies.Desired QualificationsVMware knowledge preferred.Degree in IT related field preferred.Responsibilities:Support Microsoft Windows server technologies (Server 2008 R2/2012) operating systems, Exchange, DNS and Active Directory, and virtualization platforms.Provide Tier 1-2 desktop and application support, including new user setups, line of business application support, and hosted application support.Operate and maintain all production, test, and development systems in a Windows environment.Perform system administration activities to include account management, monitoring, and management of system resources (CPU, memory, disk, etc.), monitoring and auditing system logs, back-up and recovery, continuity of operations, security, managing operating systems, and storage management.Operation and management of Virtual Machine environments, with basic troubleshooting.Support a data center environment (hardware and software) to ensure maximum availability for customers.
