As our partners embark on a digital transformation of their business, our solution increases operational efficiencies, enhances risk controls, and enables overall business growth.In the 2021 $284B Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), Biz2Credit is #1 among 5000+ lenders approved by the Small Business Administration, with over 180,000 approved loans.We are seeking all levels of Underwriters who have experience underwriting for Merchant Cash Advance (MCA)Our offices are based out of New York City, and we can consider Remote Workers.Responsibilities for role:Perform due diligence on eligible deals, (eg, valuation, credit review, financial document review, merchant research, risk assessment, review site inspections, etc.) Analyze the data from prospective merchants applications. credit reports, business bank & credit card statements, business financials, P&L, Balance Sheets, Tax Returns, and other related financial and diligence informationConduct interviews with merchantsCollaborate with Processing department to finalizePresent pricing, stipulations, and terms within risk parameters for eligible deals; communicate funding offers to merchantsAnalyze the data from prospective merchants applications. credit reports, business bank & credit card statements, business financials, P&L, Balance Sheets, Tax Returns, and other related financial and diligence informationInteract with internal Sales Team and the Funding TeamApply appropriate underwriting criteria to applications following published credit policy to ensure financial exposure is properly mitigated.Read and analyze credit reports, merchant processing statements, bank statements, and financial statements to determine merchants ability to support the exposure associated with their business type and requested parameters.Gather due diligence data from various locations, including but not limited to, third party vendor websites, the internet, client obtained data, etc. to make approval/denial decisions Performing extensive due diligence searches on each client submission that is eligible for an offer, including lien searches, landlord verifications, order credit reports, and background searches.Requirements for role:Minimum of 1+ years of experience working for a financial services firm, preferably in the cash advance or MCA space.
