Let your imagination take flight supporting the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD). Looking to find work that stimulates your mind, challenges your skills, and satisfies your curiosity? MIL currently holds several multi-year contracts with NAWCAD in the areas of Cyber, C5ISR, and Information Technology systems.

Summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking a Receptionist I to support our office in Lexington Park, Maryland. The Receptionist I will welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.

Responsibilities
  • Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.
  • Maintain and enforce security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related various tasks as needed.
  • Provide administrative assistance to sector leadership, which may include editing documents, developing briefing slides, creating and maintaining spreadsheets, coordinating and scheduling meetings.

Required Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service and/or business-oriented position
  • Excellent and professional verbal communication and telephone skills
  • Microsoft Office skills; specifically, Excel and Word
  • Listening, professionalism, customer focus, organization and informing others, ability to understand and enforce security policy and procedures

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working in a military environment
  • Willingness to administratively support a wide range of engineering and technical support projects
  • Willingness to travel locally
