MIL currently holds several multi-year contracts with NAWCAD in the areas of Cyber, C5ISR, and Information Technology systems.

Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Network/Systems Administration, Analyst to support a Federal Government client in Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, FL. The Network/Systems Administration, Analyst will provide on-site support of the Air force Rapid Capabilities Office (AFRCO) Integrated Capabilities Office (ICO) team at CCAFS, FL.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize knowledge of IT Systems to define requirements, design systems, test implementations, and deploy solutions.
  • Apply systems engineering principles to identify, isolate and resolve or circumvent systems engineering problems.
  • Utilize IT experience to perform functions such as system installation/integration, configuration management, trade studies, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management in gaining approval for engineering changes to deployed systems.
  • Develop technical solutions to problems, implement enhancements, and upgrade IT systems architectures.
  • Analyze new technologies to determine their usefulness to AFRCO ICO.
  • Conduct assessment on new platforms to ensure the technology solutions leverage cutting edge integration capabilities.
  • Serves as a point of contact for customers seeking IT technical assistance.
  • Provide accurate information on IT products and services.
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a network and systems administrator for multi-tiered WAN and LAN TCP/IP networks.
  • CompTIA Security + Certification
  • CompTIA Network + Certification
  • Key management experience.
  • Familiarity conducting vulnerability scans.
  • Able to troubleshoot and repair fiber, coaxial and electronic components as a Telecommunications Technician.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent communications sills (written & oral), ability to conduct IS user briefings.

Desired Qualifications
  • Special Operations Forces IT experience

Education

Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college. Four (4) years of work experience related to the position or an Associate's Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college plus two (2) years of additional work experience related to the position may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

Clearance

All applicants for this position must currently possess a Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS-SCI and SAP/SAR clearances; please note that the clearance process takes into account financial background aspects.
