Senior Associate - Project Management

The Senior Associate will work on a cross-functional project team supporting the Program Management Office function within the Risk Capital and Analytics (RCA) team. The Senior Associate will support data management for core team reporting systems (Wdesk), understand data lineage, manage dependencies, own effective translation of information between and within systems, and support data strategy development to drive efficiencies in information sourcing and document development. In addition, the Senior Associate may support developing new project plans to support other team enhancement or remediation efforts.

The role will require working with other financial analysts and project managers who have a wide variety of backgrounds, skill sets, and project goals. The Senior Associate will provide support to other teams to support broader capital planning functional efforts, including interactions with finance, modeling teams, and technology counterparts. The Senior Associate will also support the execution of operational, or business as usual, processes. In addition, the Senior Associate will facilitate timely status reporting, issue tracking and escalation, and ensure various process enhancement projects meet conditions of satisfaction.

We are seeking a dedicated, disciplined, financial or data analyst with strong data management skills who excels in a team environment. Our ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills and demonstrates innovation, problem solving, conceptual thinking, project management, and process management abilities. The candidate also has strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities to develop collaborative partnerships with peers and teams across our organization. Within the role, there is opportunity to broaden understanding of high level capital planning processes and assist with critical reporting functions.

Responsibilities:

- Play a lead role in developing, implementing, and managing our department's data strategy with initial focus on stress testing

- Serve as the point of contact for our stress testing Enterprise Data Management reviews

- Manage data infrastructure for our stress testing submission documentation, including possibly implementing Wdata and streamline data movement processes

- Support sourcing data to drive efficiencies in document development

- Leading enhancement projects across the capital planning processes

- Managing project tasks, which include performing planning, guiding and leading teams, executing and building new capabilities, and closing out projects

- Ensure delivery of new and improved business processes on time, within budget and with high quality

- Ensure adherence to integrated plans and schedules

- Identify and manage program risks, serve as escalation to resolve program issues, help remove roadblocks including dependencies across projects

- Develop and enhance project status reporting

- Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery management practices and processes

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or military experience

- At least 2 years of experience in data transformation or in capital planning

- At least 2 years of experience in project management or in process management

Preferred Qualifications:

- At least 1 year of experience in financial regulations and supervisory guidance
