The Housekeeping Supervisor responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supervising the housekeeping staff Evaluate the staff's job performance and coach and counsel as necessary. Clearly communicate the standards of performance and ensure all required training occurs. Perform and supervise the cleaning and inspection of guest rooms, public areas, and back of the house. Ensure compliance with proper cleaning techniques, procedures, and brand standards. Order supplies and maintain accurate inventory. Respond to guest requests in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction. Report any items in need of repair. Follow proper lost and found procedures for items left behind in a guest room. Perform their work in a safe manner. Report to work on time and in proper uniform Perform other tasks as assigned by management. Qualifications: Minimum of 1-year hotel experience and excellent communication skills Basic computer skills Prior supervisory experience preferred This position is at a location where Hyatt is not the employer.
