Washington, DC office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks IP&T litigation associate attorney with 3-7 years of litigation experience. The candidate will work closely with partners and will be a key member of the team, and can expect to assume responsibility, including significant client contact, for a wide variety of related IP work, including: Litigation focused on trademark, copyright, trade dress, rights of publicity, trade secret, false advertising, and unfair competition; drafting pleadings; drafting and responding to and briefing motions and arguing same in state and federal courts; preparing expert reports; assisting with discovery in litigation, including document discovery, taking and defending depositions; preparing for and assisting with jury trials; dispute settlement strategies, including mediation and other types of dispute resolution; researching, creating strategy and preparing UDRP proceedings; conducting TTAB litigation; conducting and managing legal research and writing. Experience in patent and ITC litigation a plus. Experience in domestic and international trademark clearance, portfolio strategy and management a plus. Should be licensed to practice law in DC and be in good standing.The candidate possesses superb written communications skills and an ability to produce written work product that is concise and effective. Embraces teamwork and values collaboration. Should have strong analytical skills and an ability to offer unique perspectives on complex issues. Must have strong interpersonal and oral communication skills. Should have excellent time management skills; technical skills. Should have strong academic credentials.
