Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cyber Cloud Engineer with an active TS-SCI Full Scope Polygraph to join our application development team that support our new long-term Intelligence Community program in Reston, Virginia. The Cyber Cloud Engineer will collaborate with Application Developers, AWS Cloud Engineers, Data Scientists, Cyber Security Engineers, and Technical Subject Matter Experts to develop specialized applications for the customer. Who We Are Seeking Ambitious IT professionals who are comfortable working in a dynamic environment that has multiple IT disciplines collaborating on application development projects Individuals who are interested in developing and integrating new technology Eager technical professionals who want to learn the fundamental technical skill-sets required for developing security applications for the customer Responsibilities for the Cyber Cloud Engineer Collaborate with application development personnel to assist in security vulnerability remediation tasks Provide guidance on resolving low to critical security threat incidents Implement self-healing systems, alert countermeasures, and proactive networksystem monitoring solutions Assist in designing defensive services that can operate with 247 availabilityreadiness Provide continuous research assessments on new security threats and trends for application security Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure applicationsproducts are ready for release and deployments Qualifications and Requirements for the Cyber Cloud Engineer Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or in a technical field 10 years of experience in Security Engineering, Defensive Cyber Operations, Computer Network Defense, Security Software Development, DevSecOps, System Engineering, System Administration, and or Application Development Experience working in a Linux environment Experience or exposure with related security tools Fortify, Checkmarx, BurpSuite, Veracode, OWASP ZAP, CodeDx, Nessus, ArcSight, Retina, and or Splunk Experience or exposure with forensic analysis, security triage, vulnerability scanning, and or penetration testing Experience with Bash, Java, Perl, Python, or Ruby Experience working in the DoD or IC An active TSSCI w Full Scope Polygraph Desired Skills Fundamental understanding of NIST SP 800-53 r4, NIST SP 800-37, and NIST 800-137 Working in a large-scale virtualized infrastructure in the cloud (AWS) Compensation Salary range 180,000 -230,000 Full Benefits Cigna HealthDentalVision, 401kmatch, with ADP Retirement, and Paid Time OffHolidays
