MAG Aerospace is seeking a Program Finance Analyst to support high visibility defense contracts with the DoD. This position will report to the Lead Program Financial Analyst within the Business Unit; prioritize requirements and achieve financial goals while ensuring the integrity of business processes.Duties include, but not limited to:Assist with setting up cost control systems and performing analyses to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines Incorporate contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines Assist in performing financial analyses and preparing variance explanations, estimates to completion (EACs), and monthly corporate and customer reports related to cost/schedule performance, staffing, and Revenue forecasts Ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government Audit travel costs for completeness/accuracy Prepare accurate and timely billing to customers in coordination with Accounts Receivable Team Coordinate with Accounts Payable to process vendor and subcontractor invoices Responsible for monthly close process relative to assigned programs Collaboration with team members and Program Management to ensure accuracy in data reporting Assist Senior staff with annual budgeting as well as periodic forecast updatesPrepare internal as well as external reporting by program in accordance with company/contract requirementsMinimum RequirementsDemonstrated experience and proficiency with MS Office applications; Primarily Excel2 plus years in Program FinanaceUnderstanding of financial management concepts such as funding, revenue, cost, profit, billed AR, unbilled AR, subcontracts, purchase orders, etc.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyDemonstrated initiative, flexibility, and ingenuity with the ability to effectively achieve organizational established goals and objectivesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, customer service and collaborative team environmentBS/BA in Finance/Accounting or related disciplineAbility to obtain/maintain a Secret clearanceDesired Requirements Prior experience supporting government contractsExperience with Deltek Costpoint, Cognos, or similar enterprise financial systemsMAG Aerospace (MAG) is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and is committed to Diversity and Inclusion.
