Mayvin is currently seeking a Cyber/Information Security SME to provide IT Governance support services to the Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Systems Support Directorate (SSD) in its effort to combat the catastrophic use of a weapon of mass destruction within the United States and its territories. This support includes the assistance required by the federal staff to effectively administer and manage programs and projects as well as to contribute to scientific and engineering assessments of existing and evolving counter-WMD technologies.Must have an active Secret clearanceMust be a US CitizenResponsibilities: Lead IT Governance workstreams for the contractor team, in coordination with government CISO Provide technical advisory services for the development of policies, cyber strategy, cyber network architecture, etc. Lead and participate in security authorization activities for mission-critical applications Develop and deliver cyber policies and briefings Assist government customer with stand-up of Office of CIO as a functional organization Build out CWMD IT Strategy; lead effort to collect information, set up IPTs, etc. Ensure development of CWMD IT Governance matches DHS policy Responsible for coordinating with the US Government IT Security organizations to define requirements for ensuring security compliance and ATO achievement for COTS products implemented Develop and maintain compliance with NIST SP 800-37 Risk Management Framework (RMF) and other mandates Deliver Information Security subject matter expertise throughout all aspects of a projects lifecycle Conduct comprehensive evaluations of information system technical and non-technical security features Conduct in-depth risk analysis of safeguards made as part of and in support of the accreditation process Identify information security risks and gap analysis and create risk management plans for all identified risks Responsibilities: Lead IT Governance workstreams for the contractor team, in coordination with government CISO Provide technical advisory services for the development of policies, cyber strategy, cyber network architecture, etc. Lead and participate in security authorization activities for mission-critical applications Develop and deliver cyber policies and briefings Assist government customer with stand-up of Office of CIO as a functional organization Build out CWMD IT Strategy; lead effort to collect information, set up IPTs, etc. Ensure development of CWMD IT Governance matches DHS policy Responsible for coordinating with the US Government IT Security organizations to define requirements for ensuring security compliance and ATO achievement for COTS products implemented Develop and maintain compliance with NIST SP 800-37 Risk Management Framework (RMF) and other mandates Deliver Information Security subject matter expertise throughout all aspects of a project's lifecycle Conduct comprehensive evaluations of information system technical and non-technical security features Conduct in-depth risk analysis of safeguards made as part of and in support of the accreditation process Identify information security risks and gap analysis and create risk management plans for all identified risks Qualifications: Must have BA/BS degree with at least 15 years of relevant experience or MA/MS degree with atleast 13 years of relevant experience About Mayvin: Mayvin is a dynamic women-owned small business created out of a commitment to deliver unparalleled service to our clients.
