We are an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.Job SummaryAs a Blue Force Tracking System Installer, you have experience installing, maintaining and describing various Personnel Tracking and Locating (PTL) systems and Situational Awareness Devices in vehicles and mobile platforms, including Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and GPS tracking systems, that enable rapid response to Federal field agents fighting criminal activity, at home and abroad. You will configure electronic equipment such as Flashback 4G devices, high resolution camera kits, built-in audio recorders, Satellite Communications (SATCOM) GPS devices, antennas and the associated electrical wiring/power supply for vehicles to be sent into the field.Job RequirementsConducts equipment installations and/or repairs during domestic and foreign TDY assignments, oftentimes in high-threat and/or austere environments.Provides training to the end-users.Tracks the deployment of program devices, to include recording equipment inventories. Diagnose and resolve hardware and/or software issues affecting equipment.Experience working independently with minimal oversight.Experience in testing electronic equipment.Experience integrating equipment components based on drawings.Versatile in audio/video/GPS components and their integration as applied to personnel protection systems.Ability to plan installation projects, package equipment for delivery in foreign and domestic locations.Ability to design, alter from stock equipment, or manufacturer racks for equipment in vehicular platforms.Ability to clearly communicate with teammates, supervisors, and end users about functionality of the equipment.Ability to train end users on the use of the equipment by simplifying procedures, making operation of equipment intuitive and uncomplicated.Provide ongoing equipment testing and maintenance while staying current in technological advances and updates.Liaison with the analyst/monitor unit under this program for suggestion on improvements to the collection/analytical efforts based on the capabilities of the equipment.Experience with Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) analytical systems and techniques is a plus.Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma (Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred) and a minimum of four years of experience in installing, maintaining and repairing audio, video, cellular and Wi-Fi electronic devices utilized in support of personnel security.Physical Demands and Work RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
