Under the direction of the CEO (Americas), the Managing Director will be responsible for combining strategic leadership and tactical execution of the Non-Can/XOL business plan developing and implementing specific goals, risk management and all aspects of the end-to-end life cycle of the Non-Can/XOL line of business.This role will oversee a team of underwriters with both Risk and Commercial authority delivering profitable growth through the development of a quality portfolio. This position will be responsible for developing strong external links with our distribution partners as well as providing solutions for our direct sales channel.Your Responsibilities in this position:Management of Commercial and Risk Underwriting Review, support and monitor the structure and pricing of new business and renewal policies, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines, and with the intention of meeting our retention and profitability objectivesReview and support the credit limit issuance process to ensure that response times are being met, and buyer limits approved within risk guidelinesEnsure that we are providing the highest possible level of customer service to internal and external customers (NPS)Support the team in maximizing approvals for our portfolio of renewal policyholders.
