Headquartered in Irvine, CA, with additional locations across the United States, Canada and the EU, they have over 400 employees and are expanding rapidly!Job BriefWe are looking for a Account Executive/Business Development Representative to unlock new business opportunities by finding, contacting and developing relationships with potential cannabis business clients. You will roll up your sleeves to find the best ways to reach these potential clients and then use your communication skills to understand their needs and pitch the value of the company.Youll own the customer from first contact until you qualify the deal and hand it off. If you are motivated and results-driven, and enjoy working in a team environment, wed like to meet you. Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience cold calling leads and managing against some sales quotas.ResponsibilitiesProactively seek new business opportunities in the marketEnhancing our potential client contact lists through industry association lists, and online data searchesContact potential clients through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, etc.Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/servicesPresent company offerings at a high level to potential clientsConsistent documentation of conversations with prospective customers - Why are they qualified? Why are they not qualified?Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account ExecutivesEngage Account Executives for next steps, providing detailed information for the rep and a smooth transition for the customerContinue to follow-up with prospects until qualification is completeReport to the Business Development Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales resultsStay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plansRequirements2-5yrs of Sales Account Executive , Business Development Representative or similar rolePrevious experience with cold calling from a provided list of accountsExperience with contacting potential clients through LinkedIn outreach and excellent ability to follow-up with prospects/keep track of leadsMust have excellent phone skills and articulate wellExperience with putting information into a CRM software Salesforce or similar systems that involve tracking informationUnderstanding of sales performance metrics and meeting goalsComfortable with cleaning up data in the CRM removing client and adding new clientsAbility to handle rejection and willing to lean in and hustleHands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)Can self-manager and is a self-starterFamiliarity with Google SpreadsheetsExcellent communication and listening skillsAbility to deliver engaging presentationsPlease send your resume.
