Smartronix is seeking a Network Engineer to provide the Commandant of the Marine Corps Communications Team with the ability to deliver Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) data to USMC General Officer and Executive Level Leadership accessing the MCEN regardless of their domain (air, ground and sea).The uniquely skilled Network Engineer along with experienced practitioner teammates will utilize pertinent past experience in order to successfully respond to and prevent sophisticated cyber-attacks and to provide rapid modeling, Information Assurance (IA), Cyber Support Services, and CNDSP functions to protect, detect and respond to advance threats in order to disrupt, deny and degrade network adversaries' ability to influence the confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication and non-repudiation of USMC Executive Level Communications.The Network Engineer will support innovative cyber engineering capabilities and methods to support the transformation and operation of the Marine Corps Information Enterprise (MCIENT) consisting of the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN), Marine Corps Information Technology Environment (MCITE) and Marine Corps Information Environment (MCIE).Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide network and advanced engineering support for the Non-secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet), Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) and the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications Network (JWICS) in order to improve the confidentiality, integrity and availability of intelligence data supporting the CMC and executive level communications.Planning, research, analysis, materiel, modeling, proof of concept demonstrations, system and software engineering and integration, system testing and evaluation, system deployment, system security, and system training in support of emerging technologies for Marine Corps senior leaders.Support design and development of prototype architectures and associated Techniques, Tactics and Procedures (TTP) required integrating technology and architecture changes into the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN) aimed at ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of ISR data for the USMC Executive Communications and Fleet Commanders.Provide advanced concept design; system integration design; and advanced concepts technologies design for network infrastructure, performance management tools, and computer network defense.Provide on call support to Marine Corps leaders at the Pentagon, Andrews AFB and other installations in the Washington DC area.
