VP People Operations
The company is looking to hire an experienced, business-oriented VP, People Operations who is responsible for leading the HR team and driving strategic and operational HR initiatives, for a fast growing newly public company. The position is responsible for all aspects of talent acquisition, development and retention, employee relations, HR operations. The ideal candidate has experience serving as a change agent for employees and management through a period of fast growth and evolution as a new public company, promoting company culture and workplace values while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs communicating requirements and collaboratively leading initiatives from strategic to tactical across all levels of the company. Responsibilities:Leading, designing and maintaining HR operations including HRIS (ADP), benefit assessment and management, work force talent acquisition priorities, documenting and analyzing HR related metrics and related reporting.Working directly with department managers coaching and advising them in attracting, retaining and managing employees.Consulting and advising management on organizational design and effectiveness plans and strategies including team and people development initiatives, as well as culture and people engagement efforts.Assisting executive management in the annual review, preparation and administration of the organization's comprehensive compensation program.Continually reviewing and making recommendations to management for improvement of the organization's policies, procedures and practices on employee matters.Maintaining knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensuring organization compliance.Maintaining responsibility for organization compliance with federal, state and local legislation pertaining to all employee matters.Conducting issue and performance assessments and investigations consulting with legal counsel as appropriate on personnel matters.Inspire and champion a culture of high impact, fun and engaged employees that embraces diversity of thought and ideas.Qualifications:12+ years results-driven human resources experience with progressively increasing responsibilities (within high tech and software businesses). Government contracting experience preferredBachelor's degree business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experienceExcellent project management, coordination and planning capabilitiesStrong attention to detailDesired Skills:Previous startup environment idealSenior HR Business Partner experience in technology-based companyBachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Human Resources or related fieldHRIS experience (ADP)Costpoint experienceExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal skillsPHR or SPHRSHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential.
