Job Description Hey there Cafe Kindred is currently hiring line cooks to grow our team We're a local, indie restaurant serving the fine folks of Falls Church a unique Brunch menu every day of the week Weekends is when they support us the most, and bring their biggest appetites, so we'll need weekend availability. Trust us, if you're the kind of cook that enjoys the rush, you won't want to miss the weekend shenanigans Here's some interesting tidbits about the job: Serving brunch every day means early shifts. Schedules run 6/7 am-3/4 pm We close at 3 pm to ensure our team is able to enjoy time with family/friends in the afternoons and evenings. This is the epitome of work/life balance in the food and beverage industry Enjoy competitive wages: Currently seeking full-time hires, wages ranging from $15-$19/hour, depending on job level We want our team to grow in both a personal and professional level, so come with an open mind and a desire to learn, and we'll work together to ensure your growth OK, some boring, but necessary, stuff too: Applicants have to know what's up in the kitchen. At least 1 year of professional cooking is required Desire to learn: We can't stress this enough. We're here to grow our team, our business, and our community. Authorized to work in the US is a must Able to get to Falls Church every day of the week (including weekends) for 6am shifts is a requirement Reliability is key: showing up to work on time as scheduled ready to go is basic work ethic, and on this, we do not waiver.
