The company has a high sense of community and values teamworkEmployees participate in community outreach and active volunteer programsThe company is known for investing in their employees and promoting from withinPay: $25-30/hourOverview of the Staff Accountant role:Assist in audit planning and conducting audit fieldwork for both non-profit and for-profit clientsAssist in compilation and review engagementsFinancial Statement preparation and analysisPrepare non-profit income tax returns and business filingsGeneral ledger maintenance for CFO clients including bank and other account reconciliations, preparing journal entries and analyzing account balances and budget variancesPreferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:1-3 years' accounting experienceBachelor's degree in accounting requiredSelf-motivated and strong analytical abilityGAAP financial statement audit planning and fieldwork experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPersonable and ability to work well in a team environmentMaintain professional demeanor and confidence communicating with clients
