Products and services offered through TFA include mutual funds, variable annuities, variable life insurance and, as an IAR, money management servicesJob Requirements: Career insurance representatives sell a variety of insurance products to help meet the needs of new and existing clients. They develop leads through a variety of marketing concepts including their natural market, community involvement, and detailed marketing strategies. Career insurance representatives are also expected to visit their clients regularly to provide service, periodic reviews and earn client referrals. Although hours are flexible, career insurance representatives are expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. The hours you work, and how effectively you spend your time, will determine the income you receive. A sales position representing Transamerica Agency Network requires calling on clients at their convenience, which means some evening and weekend appointments will be required.
