Position Overview: Under the direction of the HR Manager. The Human Resources (HR) Assistant is responsible for supporting the human resources department with the day-to-day operations. This position provides administrative and operational support to other human resource staff, maintains employee personnel files, and assists with various human resources functions to include scheduling of various meetings and events. Key Responsibilities: Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requestsMaintain employee personnel filesMaintains human resources records for employees by recording the hiring, transfer, termination, change in job classifications, and merit increase data and lettersAssist with management of Human Resources Intranet pageAssist with completion of compensation and benefit documentationAssist with performance management proceduresSchedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendasAssist with coordination of training sessions and seminarsSets up and schedules complicated meetings for interviewees, hiring managers, employees, and department headsMaintain calendars of the Talent Management Team.Reconcile, verify and process vendor invoicesMaintain confidentiality Basic Requirements: Associates degree and two (2) years of related experience or equivalent number of years of experience and educationOne (1) year of administrative support experienceMicrosoft Suite experienceHR assistant experienceScheduling experienceSpreadsheet experience Preferred Qualifications: Superb organizational and time management skillsReliable and can accurately follow instructionsAbility to multitask
