Summary: The Product Support Engineer will support and maintain fleet reliability / safety, on-time customer responsiveness and service requirements for MRAS Nacelle Products. In the role of Product Support Engineer, you will be responsible for new or sustaining Nacelle program technical support work. As Product Support Engineer, you will utilize your understanding and experience to execute business objectives and have the ability to effect short-term and long-term MRAS Nacelle business goals. Essential Responsibilities :A' In addition, as a Product Support Engineer, you will: A cents € cents Drive resolution of top in-service issues for assigned customers and/or hardware consistent with technical and business objectives of the Nacelle project / program A cents € cents Deliver timely and accurate containment plans and work with engineering team to develop long term design solutions A cents € cents Work with internal team and suppliers to bring new field issues through the NPI and PCB processes as appropriate A cents € cents Assist to establish Nacelle component reliability metrics and maintenance costs, and support action plans to meet or exceed established goals A cents € cents Provide Nacelle component data input for program management and customer updates and define actions / programs to achieve desired Nacelle NPI deliverables A cents € cents Provide closure to failure investigations and reporting to the customers and regulatory agencies as needed A cents € cents Provide thorough, timely, and quality responses to customer inquiries for assigned hardware A cents € cents Prepare presentations and conduct periodic reviews to communicate status of ongoing field technical issues and resolution plans to customers A cents € cents Implement "early warning"A' identification of potential issues arising from program flight tests and drive corrective action A cents € cents Work with airlines, overhaul shops, and suppliers to gather data to reduce cost of ownership, identify repair opportunities and maintenance manual changes A cents € cents Provide ground support equipment and product maintenance planning services to assist the project team on turnkey new product introduction (NPI) and technical support projects for nacelle projects A cents € cents Develop schedule workaround plans, with customer, design engineering and site management, to maintain project cost & schedule requirements and obtain detailed progress on aftermarket NPI activities at site Requirements A cents € cents Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics from an accredited college or university A cents € cents A minimum of 3 years experience in an engineering or technical customer support position Desired Characteristics : A cents € cents 5+ years experience in engineering and/or technical customer support experience is preferred. A cents € cents Ability to guide and influence others A cents € cents In-depth understanding of nacelle hardware and engineering technology and tools A cents € cents Excellent written and oral communication skills A cents € cents Strong interpersonal and leadership skills A cents € cents Ability to work in a cross-functional global matrix environment A cents € cents Strong problem solving, negotiating, and conflict resolution skills A cents € cents Ability to work independently or as part of a team within a dynamic environment A cents € cents Ability to organize, prioritize, and achieve milestones and deliverable's
