A start-up Japanese company in NJ is seeking a sales engineer who will join a small team to glow with the company.An ideal candidate has strong communication skills and business development mind, andA' business level of Japanese language skills is required.Mechanical, Electrical, or Software engineering background is highly desired, but not necessary if you are willing to learn engineering field.The company will provide a training program in Japan after COVID is over.This position can work remotely.Serves customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services.Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and others in a position to understand service requirements.Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales call schedule.Communicate with Japan HQ team to for necessary documents (eg, quotations, design changes, other specifications)Attend social gatherings (conventions, conferences) and have direct meetings with clients (either in-person or by online)Troubleshoot the company's machines and fix the problem when capable.A' Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business related filed.Communication level of Japanese language skills is required and familiar with Japanese business culture.Excellent communication, interpersonal, communication, and sales skills.50% travel domestically and at least once a year to Japan.Valid drivers' license.
