Eaton's Electrical Engineering Services and Systems division is currently seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer - Power Systems Controls to join our team. This position will be based out of any of the locations listed above. This position will require 50% travel. No relocation is being offered for this role.Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. Preferred qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or Mechatronics from an accredited institution.Certified Training in Generator Control: Emergency Standby Systems, Prime Power, Co-Gen, Microgrid etc.Minimum 5 years working with customer on a technical basis and deployment of automatic power transfer or paralleling switchgear controls projectsPosition Success Criteria:Submit to periodic customer required background and drug screenings.Successfully complete and maintain compliance with the company's safety program.Knowledge and understanding of best engineering practices for design and operation of automation systems, power management systems, human-machine interface software, PLC programming, etc.Working knowledge of test equipment and diagnostic instruments for automation and power management systems.Knowledge of troubleshooting, test and repair techniques to control circuits, logic controllers, and intelligent electronic devices (IEDs).Computer literacy. Working knowledge of all software packages relevant to successful performance of tasks.Knowledge of parts, part masters, bill of materials.Knowledge and practice of safety precautions related to working with automation and power management systems.Has demonstrated ability to provide service and represent company interests in developing customer relationships to assure long-term customer satisfaction.Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's licenseWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
