Victory Housing, Inc. is seeking a part-time Junior Accountant to join our Accounting and Administrative Services Team (the "Team"). This position is currently budgeted for 19 hours a week, but could increase. The Team provides administrative and accounting support for Victory Housing, which includes multifamily and assisted living business lines and 185+ full and part time employees. Responsibilities and Duties: Reports to Senior Accountant Assist the Team in all facets of accounting and financial management. Duties involve data entry and report creation using Sage Software including but not limited to: oGeneral Ledger oAccounts Payable oAccounts Receivable oJob Costing oBank Reconciliation oFixed Assets oPrepare schedules and reports oData Entry report creation Required Skills: The ideal candidate will have some or all of the following: oBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (current candidates in good standing in final two years will be considered) oHands-on experience working with general ledgers oStrong written and verbal communication skills oAbility to meet deadlines and prioritize work requirements; accept responsibility for new projects and see through completion oExcellent problem solving skills oProficient with Software systems, including Microsoft Excel oAble to multi-task and prioritize work effectively Victory Housing is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to providing an inclusive work environment for staff, clients, volunteers and service partners.
