These systems demand development of advanced software solutions as well as integration of commercial off the shelf \(COTS\) hardware interfacing to complex systems\.This Senior Systems Engineer will be part of a highly skilled and diverse team for the Taiwan LEP \(Life Extension Program\) / IDS \(Indigenous Submarine Program\) programs at our Manassas, Virginia location\. This individual will be responsible developing innovative solutions to address a variety of SEIT \(Systems Engineering and Integration & Test\) tasks for submarine combat systems including specification development, interface definition, design tasks, and integration\.This Senior Systems Engineer must be able to effectively communicate and interface across the team to address matters that affect execution or performance of the project and provide regular progress status and participate in required program planning\.This Senior Systems Engineer will initially be focused on integration and test activities but must also be able to participate in the full System Engineering life cycle, including system, software, and hardware requirements development, hardware stand\-up, system integration, test definition, test planning, system certification and sell\-off, and system delivery and production support\.Benefits: In addition to the responsibilities highlighted above we offer extensive benefits to include competitive 401k, insurance, and a new 4/10 schedule\. We remain an equal opportunity company\.We support our employees, so they can support our mission\!**Basic Qualifications:**\- Previous integration and test experience with combat management systems or similar system of systems integration, \(submarine / ship systems preferred\)\- Previous requirement verification, test procedure development, and test execution experience\- Experience with requirement tracking tools or PTR \(Problem Tracking Reports\)\- Experience briefing / instructing technical information to internal and external customers\- Knowledgeable in software programming or scripting languages \(e\.g\. C\+\+, Java, Python, Bash, etc\.\)\- Proven experience across Systems Engineering Integration and Test program life cycle\- Demonstrated strong leadership, administrative, and interpersonal skills* **Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance\. Desired Skills:**\- Model Based System Design, Test Automation, and Agile development experience\- Familiarity with DOORS\- Demonstrated skills in coordinating with Navy customers, Program Office, and industry partners\- Previous System Engineering Integration and Test \(SEIT\) experience with submarine / ship combat, SONAR, weapons systems, or equivalent\- Experience working with a virtual team\- Application of the overall Systems Engineering process\- Knowledgeable in operating system and networking concepts\- Language Chinese MandarinBachelors degree from an accredited college in a related field, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree\.**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:**job\.Qualifications**Lockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer\.
