This developer will help build web-based applications to support modernizing legacy systems to the Cloud. You will be part of a team supporting the National Center for Biotechnoloy Information in Maryland . What you'll be doing:+ Work in an Agile team with clients to d evelop c loud - based web applications using Java or Kotlin .+ M igrati ng legacy applications to cloud-based microservice architecture .+ Build interactive and responsive web applications with JavaScript frameworks like Angular and React .+ Design and build for performance and accessibility . Technologies you'll use:+ Java, Kotlin, HTML, CSS, Angular, React What you must have:+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline+ 4 + years of professional software engineering experience .+ 2+ years of experience with building web applications using Java or Kotlin .+ 2+ years of experience with SQL using databases such as MySQL or MS SQL Server .+ Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript . What we'd like you to have:+ Experience with JavaScript application frameworks such as React JS or Angular .+ Experience with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).+ Knowledge of microservice architecture.+ Experience working on projects that are using Agile and DevSecOps including using modern CI/CD pipelines .
