Information Technology Services Communications ManagerDeloitte's Information Technology Services (ITS) organization is seeking a skillful strategist, collaborative communicator, and agile advisor to help lead ITS as it grows and transforms in exciting new directions. If you're a communications professional who can visualize the big picture while focusing on the detail, can manage multiple priorities, carry yourself with a strong executive presence, and deliver effective communications across a range of styles and to myriad audiences, hit the "Apply Now" button!What you'll do:As a member of Deloitte's US Information Technology Services (ITS) communications team, you will have responsibility to:Develop and execute comprehensive internal and external communication strategies for priority internal stakeholders, including Deloitte's US Chief Information Officer (CIO) and other ITS leaders.Deliver polished written communications, including the ability to weave storytelling and human-centered, inclusive language into messaging to personalize the narrative and capture Deloitte's unique culture and values.Build a strong relationship and understanding of the CIO's style, voice, and preferences.Simplify and translate strategic priorities, performance, philosophy and industry trends into coherent stories and messages in an authentic voice of the CIO that resonates with specific audiences.Serve as a trusted advisor to Office of CIO Leader on communications and engagement strategies.Collaborate with teams within US and Global ITS organizations and align with Deloitte's marketing and internal communications guidance.Project a strong executive presence with the ability to present ideas, make recommendations, provide rationale and business cases, and advise executives and IT professionals on communications.Manage multi-faceted projects, including coordinating and managing several projects simultaneously.Respond to and follow-up with requests and questions, making important connections as needed for our internal stakeholders and colleagues.QualificationsRequired:Communications professional with a minimum of 10+ years relevant experienceA Bachelor's degree (preferably in Communications, English, Public Relations, or Journalism) is requiredProven success in developing and executing internal and external communications strategy and communications plans for a large business, preferably in professional servicesStrong writing, editing, and copy-editing skills and previous writing/editing experience in corporate communications, PR, or journalism fields requiredExperience in successfully managing and delivering sensitive, crisis, and executive communications requests in a large-scale corporate environment preferredAbility to work in a matrixed environment and build trusted relationships across a diverse group of stakeholdersTravel up to 10% (while travel of up to 10% is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
