Overview The candidate will provide SW development leadership to development teams and programming expertise to both CMRS platforms (ie sustainment and development of CMRS NextGen). Candidates will be required to provide day to day guidance to development teams, be familiar with agile frameworks, work with the scrum master to share status of sprint items from the backlog. Responsibilities Use CMRS .NET and CMRS NextGen to support improvement efforts or to test new functionalities of Govern-ment-approved pilot programs Integration new functional requirements into system capabilities identify source code and/or database changes, ensure a clean software compile fully document the changes per the configuration management processes Test and baseline of all changes shall be in accordance with a Government approved source code control sustainment standard operating procedure leverage an iterative and/or agile development process Organize and oversee a development cadence and deliver (at a minimum) 2 major releases and 4 minor releases per platform .NET, SQL Server, Java, JavaScript, Python, ExtJS, and JSON .NET/C#/SQL Server Developing applications on the Apache Hadoop Map Reduce framework and various backend components (HDFS, HBASE, Accumlo, Storm and various middleware components). Modern software architecture frameworks, service oriented architecture and design patterns. Developing and calling web services (REST, SOAP, etc.) APIs and frameworks to interact with various data producers and consumers Familiarity with HBSS, ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), DPMS, ACAS, WSUS, DISA BDP, EUM, STIX/TAXI II Qualifications Active Secret clearance is required Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business, or other relevant area. Master's Degree (Preferred) CMRS Experience (Preferred) Minimum of 8 -10 Years of Software Development experience 1-2 years in a leadership experience .Net/C#/SQL Server HDFS, HBASE, Accumlo, Storm and various middleware components
