The Role We are looking for an experienced Director of Technical Product Management who is passionate about building and integrating the systems powering the products our customers love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams and partners to design, build, and roll out systems that deliver the company's vision and strategy. In this role, you'll lead a team of product managers to enable impactful, outcomes-focused learning experiences by building and executing a roadmap for our technical ecosystem, including admissions, learning, and job placement. You'll productize operations and processes through the deployment of modern and best-in-class systems. Partnerships and the implementation of off the shelf solutions will be a crucial part of delivering, and you'll be comfortable working with a variety of vendors. The role also requires creating workflows and experiences through integration and creating paths for migration and deprecation of legacy tools and systems. Responsibilities Work with internal and external stakeholders across the globe to understand their technology needs, including a set of B2B and B2C reference customers and partners Articulate a clear technology strategy and map the steps that will accelerate progress Anticipate challenges and build in mitigation strategies Evaluate possible solutions and partners and influence their roadmaps while keeping up with the latest technology and market trends Test ideas upfront to attain a minimally sufficient level of confidence that the investment will yield the expected return and that it is feasible to deliver and operate the solution Create business cases and gain executive approval for new ideas and keep leadership up to date on how technology investments are performing and where to invest next Organize cross-functionally with operations, marketing, admissions, and engineering teams to establish precise business requirements as well as to test, iterate, and scale programs globally Ensure product success by developing robust market requirements and go-to-market strategies, including training, implementation, launch, and ongoing support Ensures that delivery teams validate and deliver against the objectives of the project and user/customer expectations early and often Collaborate with senior leaders in engineering, learning, and design to manage capacity, resources, and cross-team dependencies Coach direct reports to help them achieve their goals and deliver against the business vision Analyze and use data to enable prioritization and planning Qualifications 5-10 years experience in Product Management with experience delivering complex integrations, migrations, and technical implementations Experience working face to face with customers, clients, partners, and vendors in a product management environment building long-standing relationships Strategic and effective communication skills, using various modalities to inspire, educate, map, influence, and persuade Ability to translate product vision into action by creating business cases, competitive analysis, product assessments, product-market fit, and product differentiation analysis Hands-on experience working in an agile environment supporting fully agile delivery teams, ideally in a Scrum environment Alignment with and passion for GA's mission to transform our students' lives through learning and alignment with GA's Statement of Diversity and Inclusion Ability to work with all levels of management, including executive leadership, and manage through indirect influence Knowledge of the competitive landscape and industry players/leaders in the broader context of the product
