Due to recent acquisitions within our growing company, All Roads is searching for an energetic, detail oriented HR Generalist to join our team in Dundalk, MD! We have over 750 employees within 10 states and 35 rooftops. This is a fast-paced environment where you can make an immediate impact! This role is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR leadership in supporting initiatives within the business. You will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, and employment law compliance. Ideal candidate will have strong benefits and leave administration experience. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations at the direction of the HR Director. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper withholdings. Monthly benefit invoice reconciliation. Performs positive and timely customer service functions by answering employee requests, questions and proactively finding solutions. Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files. Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks and entry in HRIS systems. Reports, maintains and monitors all workers compensation case files. Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed. Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database. Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role uses standard office equipment. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time, benefits eligible position. Flexible hours of work between 7:30 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday. Travel Occasional travel to other company locations may be required, approximately 10%. Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) strong Excel. 3+ years of experience Preferred Education and Experience SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential or PHR.
