Position: Cyber Exercise Planner IIIContract/Location: National Capital Region Overview:NAIS is seeking an experienced Cyber Exercise Planner II to provide services on a contract supporting a US Government agency. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving and communications skills as well as a previous work history of developing, designing, conducting, and performing analysis on cyber exercises in the Federal Government. This position requires a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, a drive to focus and produce results, and the ability to lead a team to meet objectives and foster strong customer relationships in a complex environment. This is a full-time salaried position with compensation to be based on experience and overall strength of the candidate. On this contract, our team will support the US Government agency across the following activities: (1) Facilitate across federal departments and agencies and the private sector plans for cyber defense operations. (2) Enable information sharing, coordination, and creation of pre-position resources and playbooks necessary to streamline coordinated protection, detection and/or response activities among the federal government, private sector, and SLTT.(3) Collaborate in the development of additional plans for offensive and intelligence activities in support of cyber defense operations, bringing the federal civilian and defense agencies together with the private sector to collaborate on intelligence development and defensive measures. Qualifications:* Clearance: Top Secret / SCI* Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen. * Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited academic institution.* Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience providing similar services similar projects.* Preferred: Experience working in government IT and cybersecurity environments at federal civilian government or other federal agencies.Core Duties:* Support Federal client and contract exercise leads to plan, coordinate and execute cyber exercises according to established Evaluation Program best practices.* Create and maintain exercise life cycle documents including from early concept, exercise logistics and conduct, and active scenarios in conjunction with cyber incident response plans through exercise outcomes and analysis.* Develop after action reports, which incorporate recommendations and modifications to cybersecurity protocols that result in cybersecurity improvement plans.
