Come be a part of our team, today! The Electrical Preconstruction Executive serves in a client- and company-facing role in Project Development to shape upcoming projects. Responsibilities:Interface with and provide guidance to Clients, Design Partners, and Clark teams on electrical systems, products, and materials from both cost and performance standpointsIdentify performance enhancement and cost savings recommendations through review of design criteria, technical reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications for electrical systemsSupport conceptual estimating, estimating, and purchasing efforts through executive-level review of internal scope sheets and estimates for electrical systemsInterface with trade partners, suppliers, and vendors to maintain superior technical knowledge; overlay with Clarks internal cost database to cultivate awareness of market trends at system and element levelsPeriodically engage with Project Delivery teams as an onsite trusted advisor and in the event of technical challenges.Work closely with Mechanical Preconstruction Executive and company leadership to provide high quality, value-add services to our Clients--maintain budget reliability, highlight market and technical knowledge, select the best design solutions, and reinforce Clarks reputation as a trusted advisor Skills and Competencies:Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Mechanical EngineeringStrong communication skillsProven leadership experienceStrong network of industry and discipline relationships -- designers, subcontractors, manufacturers, etc.Working technical knowledge of electrical systems for commercial, healthcare, mutli-family high rise residential, institutional, and government projectsSubstantial professional experience in electrical systems design including power distribution, lighting, and low voltage systemsWorking knowledge of applicable design standards, building codes, and specificationsFamiliar with local jurisdictional permitting and approval requirementsAbility to perform and quickly evaluate load calculationsLicensed Professional Engineering (PE) or willingness to sit for examMinimum 7+ years of related electrical design-related experience #LI-LG1-CK #GD Equal Opportunity Employer: Clark Construction Group, LLC, (subsidiaries and affiliates) is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
