Taking the initiative, being pro-active, living the company values, being helpful collaboratively, building and fostering diversity of thought and team growth is valued success measure.**Local Northern Virginia position, but work from home assignment with ability to travel into the local offices as frequently as needed by the business at a moments notice** Pro-actively partner and drive the HR strategy and solutions for a high growth Operating Group.Entrusted partner with client VP & leadership team developing and implementing strategies, approaches and day-to-day actions that support the growth and objectives of the business.Partner pro-actively, collaboratively and creatively to drive business results with clients, HR functional centers of excellence and other team members to help lead and drive organizational change, talent & leadership development, employee engagement & retention, employee relations, workforce strategy, organizational design, new business proposal support, compensation approaches, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and other related areas with a focus and ability to scale.Pro-actively provide counsel or solutions that help our business leaders make informed decisions. Bring resolution to complex and sensitive in nature employee matters by applying relevant laws, policies, and past practice to mitigate risk for the company.Utilize business analytics to measure and continuously improve organizational effectiveness and outcomes by reviewing and interpreting data, trends, and themes to identify business or process improvement opportunities and informed solutions.Pro-actively lead change management actions by facilitating the implementation of enterprise initiatives and imperatives Lead special projects and work as a part of a team in solving complex HR challenges across HR and the line operationsAct as the team leader, coaches, delegates and reviews work of lower level resources across the business area in day-to-day activities Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent. Candidate must have a minimum of 7+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, in the Government Contracting space, supporting an employee base of 2,000 or more. A strong background and understanding of government contracting rules and regulations and how they affect employees, employee programs and practices. Strong background with consulting skills with experience in coaching, influencing, and building effective relationships and while the ability to earn the confidence and trust of others by delivering on commitments and demonstrating high standards of ethical conduct.Broad and thorough HR subject matter expertise of the general principles and practices of human resources.Pro-active solution designer and deliverer who takes initiative and is resourceful in creating and implementing solutions that deliver results.Demonstrated business acumen and analytical skills with an ability to diagnose and support data-driven decision making.Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence in diverse business situations with the use of diplomacy and tact in confrontational situations, able to breakdown complex issues into easy to understand messages; adaptable approaches to changing situations.Ability to keep on top of many tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while leading imperatives and objectives having excellent planning, organizational skills, and attention to detail.Must have experience in preparing and presenting reports and executive-level, c-suite briefings, proficient in MS office tools.Demonstrated strong project planning and management skills.Excellent conflict resolution and negotiations skills and the ability to work within legislation guidelines.Must be able work independently.
