Linux Engineer with Security Clearance
Requirement1. Must have seven (7) years of experience in the field of Information Processing.2. Experience with Red Hat Linux installation, management and troubleshooting, system optimization Experience with configuration and management of the Linux infrastructure.3. Experience with configuration and management of the Linux infrastructure4. Experience with Red Hat Linux installation, management and troubleshooting5. Experience with Drupal, JBoss, Solr, and Shibboleth is preferred not mandatory.6. Six (6) years of relevant experience are specialized in numerous specialized Information.Duties:1. Performs vulnerability management.2. Set up (provision) accounts for authorized users3. Manage the security functions of the system4. Perform backups as required and verify that backups are successful5. Review system logs and notify the ISSM of any unusual system activities detected6. Ensure users do not perform actions that could degrade system security7. Remove accounts and privileges from the system for users who have left the organization, or whose privileges have been revoked due to disciplinary actions8. Disable inactive accounts. Perform software installations as needed9. Configure and maintain Operating System (O/S) parameters10. Must have experience with ITSM Remedy System or another approved ticketing process.11. Processing disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions, four of which are concentrated, hand-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software.12. Ensures the stable operation of the in-house computer software systems and network connections. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network software and communication links.13. Analyzes and resolves end user software program and connectivity issues.
