Description:Seeking a GEOINT (Radar) Processing Engineer to interact daily with senior Government and program staff to support a variety of high priority, high visibility activities such as collaboration with development contractors, other Government program office personnel and Government customers on support activities related to systems engineering, acquisition functions and network services in the domain area of collection, mission management and mission processing. The candidates' responsibilities include: Responsibilities: Perform engineering and analysis to ensure programs successfully develop and deliver core mission processing services in all phases of the acquisition life cycle Interface directly with development prime contractors in the role of oversight, monitoring of software development and integration activities and ensure alignment with Government requirements and objectives Retain cognizance of wide variety of mission projects including, technical baseline, project schedules, dependencies, risks and costs Conduct planning for both mission architecture needs (technical trade studies, definition of future architecture planning, software services recommendations etc.) Support and lead working groups on product definition, mission CONOPS, and technical implementation of new mission products in existing GEOINT baseline Provide oversight and technical guidance in support of transition of products and integration support for GEOINT product applications into mission framework implementations. Required Qualifications: Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly Bachelor's STEM degree from an accredited institution or related technical discipline Working knowledge of GEOINT processing, with focus on GEOINT product definition and generation, expertise in RADAR and/or FSG preferred Experience working within or closely with Acquisition Offices; SETA and/or SE&I Familiarity with MS Office tool suite Strong organizational, time-management, and verbal / written communication skills, able to convey information across multiple customer and corporate audiences Desired Qualifications: Advanced STEM degree from an accredited institution In depth experience working closely within or closely with Acquisition Offices; SETA and/or SE&I experience Expert knowledge of C2S implementation Domain knowledge in Ground software, Space Development Programs or Mission Operations program Additional Information: This position is in Chantilly, VA at a contractor facility. No travel (beyond local travel) is expected.
