Logistics Service Coordinator - Baltimore, MD A' Cowan Systems, LLC has a strong foundation in the transportation industry, and provides all services a shipper could require. We have a network of intermodal locations, a large fleet consisting of 1,500 power units and 5,000 trailers, a full service logistics division, and warehouses that fulfill distribution needs.A' A' Summary of Position:A' The Logistics Service Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Logistics department within Cowan Systems, LLC. Supports department personnel and performs tasks as assigned. They must have accurate entry of sensitive data and the ability to answer and direct phone calls, process necessary account information, and communicate effectively with customers, carriers, and management. A' Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Dispatch Drivers while in Transit on assigned shipments Provide up to date Tracking on all assigned shipments Assist in the management of accessorial requests between vendors and customers Update TMS with check in and check out times for all stops on assigned shipments Manage Carrier Sales daily book of business Provide customer service with vendors Providing customer support for requested back-up documentation Work closely with vendors and customer service to ensure customer appointments are met Troubleshoot transit issues with assisted help from customer service and management Work closely with management on special assignments Understand all compliance guidelines and SOPs set forth by Cowan Administer pay advances to vendors when necessary Provide customers and vendors with afterhours support Adhere to issue elevation guidelines set forth by management A' Skills & Requirements: Ability to work successfully and professionally in a team-based environment Ability to make a minimum of 15 phone calls/hour Ability to spend approx. 75% of assigned shift on the phone Must have at least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook Be able to work independently Extremely reliable Extremely organized and detail orientedA' Exceptional customer service skillsA' Strong communication (both verbal and written), problem solving, & decision-making skills 4 year college degree strongly preferred High school diploma required Bilingual in Spanish or Russian a plus Outstanding benefits, including:A' A' Health, Dental, Vision, Life & DisabilityA' A' Sick, Vacation, and Holiday PTOA' A' 401K Options #cs
