About the Company and Opportunity:Our client is a non profit who serves members of the community suffering from hunger, homelessness, and poverty.Due to growth, they are looking to hire a temporary Cash Accountant to work in their Baltimore office.There is free street parking around the office in Baltimore City!Overview of the role:This position is temporary and will begin right away after an interviewPosition is in office and will not be remoteHours are 9am-5pm Monday-FridayPay rate: $21-24/hour depending on experienceDuties of the Cash Accountant:Assist with day to day accounting working with the general ledger, journal entries, and performing reconciliationsAssist with AP and AR as neededRun reportsAd hoc tasks as neededPreferred and Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related required3-4 years' experience with full cycle accountingMust be able to pass a background check and education verificationProficient with Excel- pivot tables and VLOOKUPExperience using Blackbaud Financial Edge a plusTech savvy- someone who is okay with working completely paperless
